Free to Consumers; Low Cost to Businesses

The Dabra software is free to download. There is no cost to consumers who use Dabra to send and receive secure emails. Business users license the Corporate Dabra version and pay a pennies-per-message fee to exchange secure email in a business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) context.

Security

Dabra operates on Obvious Solutions' patent-pending Obvious Security Platform™, Dabra guards your privacy with the following features:

Authentication
Every time a message is sent using Dabra the sender and recipients are validated against the Dabra directory service.
Non-repudiation audit trail
Every Dabra message includes a notary timestamp of when the email was sent and when it was received. Digital fingerprints of the email's content are logged, although the content itself is kept completely private. At any future time, the sender or the recipient can verify that their message (including file attachments) has not been altered.
Encryption
The content of every email (including file attachments) is encrypted using bank-strength cryptography (AES). The message is encrypted so that only the intended recipient of a message can retrieve the encrypted contents.

Automatic Setup; Easy to Use

Dabra works with the email program you already use. The Dabra client program is a no-cost download that can be installed on your Windows PC in a matter of minutes. There are no digital certificates to install and configure, and no complicated setup required in your email program.

If you use Microsoft® Outlook™, Dabra will install a Dabra Send Secure button on your email screen. To send secure email using Dabra, just click this button instead of your usual Send button. That's all there is to it.

If you use a web mail program, such as Hotmail®, Yahoo®, or Gmail®, you will receive secure Dabra messages as encrypted attachments on a regular email. To read a secure Dabra email, simply double-click the attachment. The secure email will be automatically decrypted and displayed in a Dabra window. You can use this Dabra window to save the message to your local disk, reply to it, forward it, or to author a completely new secure email message. Your private email is always encrypted on the web mail server; your privacy is completely maintained at all times.
